Hope Out of Hopelessness

Have you ever had an assignment, task, or situation that seemed insurmountable? The very thought of moving forward causes a weight of weariness to appear. I know how that feels and God is challenging you and I both to turn our hopelessness into hopefulness.

Hopelessness is defined as being a feeling or state of despair; lack of hope. Our circumstances, finances, and lives can create moments of hopelessness. Distorted vision occurs when our mind is distracted with thoughts of what we cannot do, doubts, insecurities, fear, and other blockages to hope.
Jesus comforts us through His Word by reminding us to trust in Him (Proverbs 3:5-6), cast our cares (1 Peter 5:7), and have faith in His capability to always provide (Philippians 4:19).
That is why meditating on truth (the Word of God) is so powerful. He will change your perspective, your words, your actions, and your life!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you that you hear us when we cry out to you. We need you! Here’s our concerns, worries, and everything that makes us feel hopeless. Minister truth to us through your holy word. Guide us by ordering our steps daily. In Jesus name, Amen.
