Rock Bottom Is A Nice Place to Start

Rock bottom: a phrase that causes one to think about hard times. Hard times that are the result of financial woes, relationship challenges, and life. It is an uncomfortable place to be and can bring forth feelings of failure, doubt, depression, and so on. What’s next? How can you get back up when it seems like you have lost everything? Let’s take a look at Job.

Job was a man of God who experienced rock bottom. He lost his children, land, livestock, workers (pretty much everything). His own wife told him to turn his back on God, friend’s questioned his actions, and his health failed. Job endured all these things yet he did not give up on God.

Whatever you are going through, remember that God is right there with you. Hitting rock bottom can simply be the end of your will and the beginning of His will for your life. Rock bottom may look and feel as if it’s the end but don’t give up. Mission Impossible is actually Mission Possible. You can start back over. You can rise from the bottom. You will heal from your brokenness. You will make it through because God will not give up on you!
